Practicing with a Macro Lens

Due to the projects I undertake at university, I don't really get the chance to play around with my macro lens very much. During summer, I had quite a lot of free time, so I took this opportunity to have a photoshoot in my garden using my macro lens. I captured many plants and flowers, including bees, and am very happy with a select few.

As I didn’t have a tripod, I found it difficult to focus some of the images using a big heavy lens which made my hands shake a little, even though I made sure that I was using aa fast shutter speed.

Other than that issue, I really like how clear the focal point is, compared to the very out of focus background.
