For this portrait photoshoot, I wanted to focus mainly on a close-up angle of my model’s face, surrounded by different types of trees.

The lighting was especially hard to control as it was cloudy day being made even darker under the trees. This meant I used a high ISO at 800-1000 with an aperture of f5.6, even though I didn’t want much of the background in the image, anything that did show, I wanted to be blurred and a shutter speed at 1/60.
To edit these images, I adjusted the exposure, contrast and colouration, paying close attention to the shade of green. I then added quite a bit of grain to the images to add more interest and to give a vintage feel.
